This Privacy Policy explains how Startup Development Center (SDC) and Vidaho ("VHC Program," "we," "us"), as joint operators of VHC Program, collect, use, and protect personal data submitted through the VHC Program website, in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023.

When you register for VHC Program, we collect: your full name, venture name, email address, phone number, your role at the venture, venture stage, your view on your venture's weakest engine, whether you're currently raising capital, your selected city, and how you heard about the programme. We also collect payment information necessary to process your registration fee, handled through our payment processor.
2. Why We Collect It
We use this information to process your registration and payment, communicate with you about the programme, tailor the diagnostic day where relevant, and — where you have not opted out — to keep you informed about future VHC Program activity.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your data on the basis of your consent (given at registration) and, where applicable, because processing is necessary to perform our contract with you (delivering the programme you've registered and paid for).
4. Who We Share It With
We share necessary data with our payment processor to complete your transaction, and with the email and event-administration service providers who support VHC Program on our instructions. These providers are only permitted to use your data to deliver the service we've engaged them for. We do not sell personal data.
5. How Long We Keep It
We retain your personal data for 36 months from your last interaction with VHC Program — covering the programme cycle and a reasonable follow-up period — after which it is securely deleted or anonymized, unless you have separately opted in to continued communication or a longer period is required by law.
6. Your Rights
Under the NDPA, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, object to or restrict certain processing, request a copy of your data in a portable format, and lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) if you believe your data has been mishandled.
